Sorry I’ve been M.I.A, but I’ve just come back from a long trip to Florida. Weather wasn’t as hot as I’d hoped it would be, but I did get a chance to do some serious damage at the fabulous International Plaza Mall in Tampa Florida. One of my great buys–Escada’s annual limited edition spring fragrance. This year’s scent is called MOON SPARKLE, which is inspired by their new 2008 spring fashion collection. For $55 bucks not only did I get a great fruity fragrance, but I also got a copy of Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad” CD and and an umbrella (go figure!). I’ve actually been curious to hear her album since she’s released a couple of decent songs over the past year, but I hadn’t taken the time to purchase it. So, this was definitely an added perk! It also feels good to know that some of the money is used for a good cause–the collaboration is apparently in an effort to bring awareness to Rihanna’s BELIEVE FOUNDATION (a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting and inspiring children). <br /> Any-hoo, the fragrance smells fabulous of course…just like Escada’s past spring scents. I love it’s strawberry and apple notes, which make it the perfect scent to take on a caribbean getaway. <br /> Missed y’all!<br /> *xoxo*</p> <p>P.S. Some other new fragrance finds–Michael Kors Island Capri and Mariah Carey’s M Gold. Both smell decent, but neither wowed me enough to drop money on them.
