The color palette– ALL GOLD. A far departure from past season’s palettes, the fall collection is designed by the house’s new creative director of make-up, Peter Phillips. The collection was inspired by an apartment on the Rue Cambon where Coco Chanel lived and worked. The apartment is said to be cozy with shades of warm browns, golds, and bronzes, which are all represented in the palette one way or another. The collection will include a nail enamel, a loose powder, a Glossimer Lipgloss, a lipstick, and an eye shadow quad.Gold is not the next “it” shade I expected to come from Chanel. Could it be as big as Black Satin or Blue Satin?? Why not? Who’s to say that the next “it” color has to be far out shade?
