Tweezerman is known for their wide assortment of facial and brow tweezers, and my favorite one, which was given to me by a fellow-make-up artist, is the Point Tweezer. Now, I know that the Point looks a little intimidating at first…that’s a pretty scary tip, but let me tell you that that the extra-sharp, perfectly aligned tip can grab and pluck every bit of tiny hair that a normal tweezer can’t. The Point Tweezer is a staple in my kit and has come in handy at practically every job that I’ve done. Whether I use it to pluck brows or any unwanted facial hair, this tweezer is guaranteed to grab the impossible of hairs. The Point Tweezer is the best for plucking ingrown hair, too. Just remember–always tweeze in the direction of hair growth, always sanitize/clean tweezers before and after each use, and always replace the protective cap on tweezer tips! The Point Tweezer is available in assortment of colors, too. Of course I gotta go for the bright shade–orange:)

Hey girls!
I was off on a job this weekend (hence the SUPER late post….ooops!) and as usual, I was prepared with my angled make-up brush to save the day. I honestly don’t know what make-up artists did before the angled brush was thought of. Not only is the angled brush great for creating the perfect cat eye, but it’s great for filling brows in with a brow powder formula as well. It’s also fantabulous for creating a soft edge liner look when used with a pencil eye liner (sharpen pencil, stroke brush on pencil tip until you get a good amount of product on brush and gently sweep across the upper or lower lash line). But it doesn’t stop there! The angled brush also makes good as a substitiute for those moments when you can’t find your lip brush. As a make-up artist I NEVER travel without at least 1 angled brush in my case/kit. But I have to confess….I own at least 20;-) And yes, I use EVERY single one! My fave angled brushes: MAC’s #266 and Smashbox’s Angle Brow Brush, which is a little more dense and stiffer than the MAC one, allowing for a more controlled application.
