Shu Uemura’s latest beauty creation?? NEW VINYL UNLIMITED LIPGLOSS. Though this product doesn’t seem to be different or unique compared to the average lipglosses on the market, I am curious to know how impactful the color really is. Positioned as a shockingly shiny lipgloss, the formula is said to provide intense color payoff and an aritstic finish on the lips. The range, which is packaged in a squeeze tube with a slant tip applicator, is available in 5 vivid shades and 3 clear topcoat shades, which provide dewy to iridescent fx.

Hola!
Nars continues to expand their Neu Neons collection with the addition of bright eye shadow duos. Neons are hot this season, not only in fashion but in cosmetics as well. The best and easiest way to wear neons on the eyes….pair it with a neutral, toned down shade. If you still find that that’s too hard to pull off, then try wearing it as an eyeliner. Start by using an angled brush, wet it a with a little water, dab brush in the neon shade of your choice and glide brush on an angle, along your upper lash line. For a funky look, glide the brush along the lower lash line.

Hey Ladies, I’m currently very obsessed with nail polish and the rainbow of shades that are available out there. I’ve recently discovered a new brand called Color Club. I’m not really sure that this brand is new to the market, but it’s new to me because I’ve never heard of it:) I went to the beauty supply store the other day to pick-up a few hair products and when I got to the register to pay for my goods, I came across Color Club’s wide array of nail enamel shades. Amongst the shades that caught my eyes was one particular blue shade called Blue Light. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a pic of this shade to post:( But I can describe it as a the perfect cotton candy blue….my favorite flavor;-) The formula provides a nice, even, full coverage with 2 coats, and wears pretty well…at least 2-3 days before I noticed the first signs of chipping. The pink in this pic isn’t bad either. Color Club has a total of 156 nail color shades to choose from! *kisses*

Hola Chicas!Vincent Longo has just launched a new lip product called Gelli Gloss. Available in 2 vibrant shades, the transparent, jelly-like formula is packaged in a pot container. Though product leaves a shiny and sheer color on the lips, the lightweight formula also leaves behind somewhat of a greasy feel. The concept of gelli like gloss is cool, however this products greasy texture is a turn-off.*smooches*

Hey girls,
Laura Mercier has taken the best of both eye shadow forms, cream and loose powder, and combined them in one portable pack. Housed in a double-decker style component, the formulas are designed to be worn alone or together. The cream doubles as a wear extending base for all over the lid, or can be worn alone as an eye shadow. They’re available in 3 universal shade combinations.

Nail enamel keeps getting brighter and brighter by the day. Seems like just yesterday I was writing about shades of blacks and whites. Well, with the heat comes a range of bright nail enamel to spice up the summer. My favorite bright of the moment…NEON ORANGE. Sounds silly, but don’t knock it till you try it. And if bold finger nails isn’t your thing then try applying this shade on the toes for a funky summer pedicure. It’s the perfect compliment to this season’s hot gold gladiator sandals! My fave neon orange nail color comes from indie brand, Lori Anne. For those who want an even bolder look, try Lori Anne’s nail color in Green, which is also fantabulous. Added bonus…they only cost $1.99 each!
Hey ladies,
This isn’t the newest product on the block, but it’s one of my favorites! So, as some of you may know I got back from Mexico a little over a week ago, and my tan, or should I say my blackness:), is fading fast:( It’s always so sad when that starts to happen. It’s almost like your vacation bliss washes away with it. The same thing happened to me last summer after my trip to Jamaica. Luckily I discovered a wonderful bronzing product by Sue Devitt called Liquid Gold Coast: Bronzing Glow for face and body. I absolutely L-O-V-E this stuff! I’m not one to put a lot of bronzing lotions and things on my face because my skin is naturally so oily, but this is one that I swear by! This fluid formula is super light and blends seamlessly on the skin. You just add a drop or two (depending on how tan you want to look) to your moisturizer and mix the two together before distributing it evenly onto the face. It has a low level shimmer that’s just perfect to achieve that fresh, sun-kissed look.

Not only good for the lips, but for the planet, too! The Balm is another brand that’s joining the Green Movement with the introduction of their Read My Lips Lipcolor. The formula is infused with lots of good for you vitamins such as Vitamin E and A. And the base is loaded with jojoba oil and olive oil. The formula also contains a fresh vanilla mint scent. Inspired by the daily newspapers of the world, the packaging is 100% RECYCLABLE. The range is made up of 6 light, but wearable, everyday shades. I love the retro feel of the packaging!
Hey girls, If you’re a fanatic about keeping your teeth white and don’t have the time or patience to deal with whitening strips, then Tarte’s new Enbrightenment is the product you’ll want to try. I’ve always been a huge fan of the double-ended lipgloss and teeth whitening products, and my first introduction to this type of product was celebrity dentist, Dr. Pia Lieb’s Sexy Smile. However, I didn’t totally love it because 1) it tasted nasty and 2) the pack would always bust open, because of the intensity of the hydrogen peroxide (which is the teeth whitening active). Well, Tarte has taken that same fantabulous concept and partnered with well known teeth whitening brand, BriteSmile, to achieve an oral whitener that works, and tastes good. It’s also breath freshening, so it’s really like a 3-in-1 product! The formulas are housed in a flow-thru, dual-ended pack, with a brush applicator on both ends. So the process is completely mess-free and hygienic, since you don’t have to double dip the whitener every time you put it in your mouth. Yuck! And though I’m goo goo over the whitener, unfortunately, I’m not a big fan of the tacky lipgloss. But who says you have to use the gloss that’s included? So I just substitute with one of my other fave glosses. Besides, who ever carries only one lipgloss in their purse anyway? I know I don’t!
