Hey Ladies, I’m currently very obsessed with nail polish and the rainbow of shades that are available out there. I’ve recently discovered a new brand called Color Club. I’m not really sure that this brand is new to the market, but it’s new to me because I’ve never heard of it:) I went to the beauty supply store the other day to pick-up a few hair products and when I got to the register to pay for my goods, I came across Color Club’s wide array of nail enamel shades. Amongst the shades that caught my eyes was one particular blue shade called Blue Light. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a pic of this shade to post:( But I can describe it as a the perfect cotton candy blue….my favorite flavor;-) The formula provides a nice, even, full coverage with 2 coats, and wears pretty well…at least 2-3 days before I noticed the first signs of chipping. The pink in this pic isn’t bad either. Color Club has a total of 156 nail color shades to choose from! *kisses*

Nail enamel keeps getting brighter and brighter by the day. Seems like just yesterday I was writing about shades of blacks and whites. Well, with the heat comes a range of bright nail enamel to spice up the summer. My favorite bright of the moment…NEON ORANGE. Sounds silly, but don’t knock it till you try it. And if bold finger nails isn’t your thing then try applying this shade on the toes for a funky summer pedicure. It’s the perfect compliment to this season’s hot gold gladiator sandals! My fave neon orange nail color comes from indie brand, Lori Anne. For those who want an even bolder look, try Lori Anne’s nail color in Green, which is also fantabulous. Added bonus…they only cost $1.99 each!

Hey ladies, As you may already know, and as you may have read in my previous posts, nail color is making has been making a huge comeback in the last couple of years. Not only is it back, but it’s more colorful than ever! Some of this season’s hottest nail colors range from the deepest purples to the brightest oranges. The selection is all over the spectrum. One of my fave shades this season is Zoya’s nail enamel in shade Creamy. This bright sunshine yellow is the perfect compliment to this season’s yellow fashion. I mean yellow is EVERYWHERE this year! And though I wore my share of yellow last summer, there’s still something really fresh and new about the shade and I’m still enjoying it just as much this year. It’s a flattering shade for most skintones, but if you have fair skin and would like to try a yellow nail color, try O.P.I’s nail enamel in The “IT” Color, which is a bit blacker/less bright.

Hello gals,Nail COLOR is back, and I’m sooo excited about it. I’m so over all of the Ballet Slippers and Angel Foods of the world. It’s time to get creative with nail polish and express your style and mood with this summer’s bright and dark nail shades. A great new shade to try is MAC’s new nail lacquer shade in Naughty Nauticals. From their new summer make-up collection, the shade is described as a “frosty, dark blue” shade. I love the color, but unfortunately I’m not a big fan of MAC’s nail polish formula, as I don’t find that they wear long enough. But maybe with the right combination of basecoat and topcoat I can work on extending the wear. We’ll see! Another one of my favorite blue shades right now is OPI’s Russian Navy, which has a hint of purple to it.*kisses*

Hola Chicas! It’s time to put away those dark vampy nail colors that you’ve been rockin’ all winter long, and give your nails a breath of fresh air with shades of white. Chanel is one of many brands that’s introducing shades of white nail polish for this spring/summer season. I am a big fan of Chanel’s dark and inky nail polish shades of past seasons, and was very excited to try their new, lighter hues. I have to say though, I’m very particular about light colors and was very disappointed when their White Satin AND Blanc Ceramic both applied so sheerly. I think that if you’re gonna do white nails, then you’ve gotta go White Out opaque! Am I right or wrong? With that being said, I love Chanel for their fashion forward shades, but they didn’t do it for me with this one.*smooches*P.S. For that White Out opaque effect, try Essie’s nail polish in shade Below the Belt, or the classic…Fiji.
