Hey ladies, As you may already know, and as you may have read in my previous posts, nail color is making has been making a huge comeback in the last couple of years. Not only is it back, but it’s more colorful than ever! Some of this season’s hottest nail colors range from the deepest purples to the brightest oranges. The selection is all over the spectrum. One of my fave shades this season is Zoya’s nail enamel in shade Creamy. This bright sunshine yellow is the perfect compliment to this season’s yellow fashion. I mean yellow is EVERYWHERE this year! And though I wore my share of yellow last summer, there’s still something really fresh and new about the shade and I’m still enjoying it just as much this year. It’s a flattering shade for most skintones, but if you have fair skin and would like to try a yellow nail color, try O.P.I’s nail enamel in The “IT” Color, which is a bit blacker/less bright.

Hello gals,Nail COLOR is back, and I’m sooo excited about it. I’m so over all of the Ballet Slippers and Angel Foods of the world. It’s time to get creative with nail polish and express your style and mood with this summer’s bright and dark nail shades. A great new shade to try is MAC’s new nail lacquer shade in Naughty Nauticals. From their new summer make-up collection, the shade is described as a “frosty, dark blue” shade. I love the color, but unfortunately I’m not a big fan of MAC’s nail polish formula, as I don’t find that they wear long enough. But maybe with the right combination of basecoat and topcoat I can work on extending the wear. We’ll see! Another one of my favorite blue shades right now is OPI’s Russian Navy, which has a hint of purple to it.*kisses*

Hola Chicas!Bobbi Brown has gone custom. The brand just introduced a range of eye shadow and blush shades that you can pick and choose from to create your own personalized palette. Though this isn’t a new concept (MAC has been doing it for years), it’s nice to see more brands jumping on the customization band wagon and understanding the importance of individuality. *smooches*

Hola girls!MAC has launched a new, dazzling lipgloss! Dazzleglass, as they’re calling it, is a high-shine, non-sticky, non-tacky formula loaded with lots of iridescent, light catching pearls. The pearls used in this product are made of large particle sizes so they reflect light to mimic the shine and brilliance of jewels, such as quartz and opal. Available in 16 shades, this formula is packaged in vial pack. According to the site (www.maccosmetics.com), the formula can be worn over lipglass, lipstick, or by itself to add dimension to the lips. I haven’t tried the formula yet, but you know I’ll let you know what I think as soon as I do! And I have to say that this one of my favorite MAC ads of all time…these lips look fantabulous!*xoxo*

Hey ladies, Chanel has finally got a new lipgloss formula out! Aqualumiere Gloss High Shine Sheer Concentrate (that’s a mouthfull!!), is a traditional lipgloss formula housed in a vial with a brush applicator. What I love about this product versus their Glossimer is that you get a lot more product deposit on the lips and it’s not sticky! Glossimer on the other hand, you’ve gotta dip the applicator like a hundred times before you get a good enough amount of product on the lips and I find the formula sticky. The Aqualumiere texture is super creamy, yet it left a super shiny wash of color on my lips, and the shade range is gorgeous! I likey:)*smooches*

I’m a huge fan of Giorgio Armani’s foundations, skin illuminators and highlighters. So I was really excited to find out that he just launched a new foundation primer called Face Fabric. I received a sample of it today in the mail and I have to say that I have mixed feelings about it. Overall it’s a great concept–fabric-like texture that provides a translucent color, which can be worn alone or under any foundation for a natural glow. It has a very lightweight, mousse like texture (think Maybelline’s Dream Matte Mousse formula). However, I found it blended unevenly onto the skin and didn’t give the smooth finish that I expected it to. The product comes in 3 shades- porcelain, apricot, and soft rose. I think I’ll put it in my kit and give it another try. I’ll let you know if I change my mind about it. *xoxo*
Chanel’s fall make-up collection is scheduled to drop this July. The color palette– ALL GOLD. A far departure from past season’s palettes, the fall collection is designed by the house’s new creative director of make-up, Peter Phillips. The collection was inspired by an apartment on the Rue Cambon where Coco Chanel lived and worked. The apartment is said to be cozy with shades of warm browns, golds, and bronzes, which are all represented in the palette one way or another. The collection will include a nail enamel, a loose powder, a Glossimer Lipgloss, a lipstick, and an eye shadow quad.Gold is not the next “it” shade I expected to come from Chanel. Could it be as big as Black Satin or Blue Satin?? Why not? Who’s to say that the next “it” color has to be far out shade? It could be a simple shade of gold.
What do you think??

Clinique’s new Long Last Glosswear promises something that no other gloss on the market is promising—8 hours wear and shine! This one-step lipgloss is supposed to be super moisturizing and contains an SPF level of 15.Now, I did get a chance to try this product last week while out shopping, and I have to say that my first impression was that it’s super comfortable for a long-wear formula. It provides a nice creamy cushion on the lips and lots of shine. However, it didn’t wear much longer than about 4 hours, which compared to the average lipgloss (usually wears only about 2 hours) is pretty long, but it failed to keep the promise of 8 hours wear:(
Hey girlz!Make-up artist, Laura Geller just introduced a new kind of skin primer to the market– a bronzing primer.
